Here at Greens & Blues Co. creativity is something near and dear to my heart. That is why I am incredibly excited to be teaming up with Anna of Annamotion and Veronica of TwoEasels to bring you #CreateShare2015.
#CreateShare2015 is 7 days of creativity starting Wednesday, September 16th through Tuesday, September 22nd. Over the course of those 7 days, I challenge you to practice your creativity each and everyday. In addition, I want you to share it with the world. Using #CreateShare2015 of course! Through photographs, document all of the various ways you are creative, then share it on Instagram, Twitter, or any other social media platform you choose.
The best part of this challenge? Creativity means something different to everyone. I can’t wait to see all of the different approaches you take to creativity. There is no way to do creativity wrong – just do something!
For me, my creativity most often shows itself in crafts and learning. I’m excited because this challenge is a great excuse for me to ignore other stuff on my to-do list and hang out in my craft room each night.
Need some inspiration to kick off your 7 days of creativity?
Join one of my free courses.
Creative Spark – Complete the creative prompts in the course. You can complete all 4 modules, or start with one and go until you find your creative spark. At the end of each module, stop and look for patterns. What recurring themes do you see in how you responded to the prompts? If you attempt to make sense of your responses, you should start to see some clear patterns. Click here to enroll.
Challenge Your Creativity – The directions for this one are simple: complete the modules, complete the course. However, realistically this may take you awhile. If you have limited time, I suggest starting with module ten which uses the book A Whole New Mind by Daniel Pink. For the specific exercise of finding your creative spark, I think this book is best. Reminder – you will get more out of this book if you actually complete the exercises and activities in the Portfolio section. Click here to enroll.
Learn Anything: An Organized, Creative Approach to Learning. In this course, you will complete 6 steps that will provide you with ideas, options, and tools guide you through the learning process. Included with each step are downloadable worksheets to help you along the way. Click here to enroll in Learn Anything: An Organized, Creative Approach to Learning.
You can also sign up for my newsletter to get the Creativity Timeline Guide in your inbox.
