Today is launch day! Work + Play: The Creative Way is open for registration. I’m so excited to share this course with you! In addition to all the amazing progress you will make while taking the course, I have worked hard to make it fun!
All of the Important Information (What You Get):
Work + Play: The Creative Way is a 7 week course + supportive community to help you identify your own personal brand of creativity and learn how to exercise it at work + at play.
Week 1 – Creativity + Me.
We will dive right in by figuring out how creativity makes you feel. Using two separate brainstorming and reflection exercises you will figure out exactly where YOU are starting from on your creative journey.Week 2 – Play: The Creative Way, Part 1
We aren’t going to waste anytime, week 2 is when you are going to figure out the biggest piece of your creativity puzzle! By the end of this week, with the help of several activities, you will be armed with the knowledge of your own personal brand of creativity.Week 3 – Play: The Creative Way, Part 2
Knowledge is power, but it’s also worthless if you don’t do anything with it. Now that you have identified your own personal brand of creativity, it’s time to make an action plan for practicing. Then you will learn how to find the time to actually practice (I’ll share some secrets for finding more time in the day).Week 4 – Work: The Creative Way, Part 1
Now that you know your personal brand of creativity, you are going to learn how to exercise it at work. First, you will determine how you currently use your creativity at work and then you will learn five ways anyone can start practicing their creativity at work.
Week 5 – Work: The Creative Way, Part 2
This week is one of my favorites as I teach you one more way to practice your creativity at work. It’s such an important one that it gets it’s own week. What could it be? Visual thinking. It’s easier than you think!
Week 6 – The Intersection of Work + Play
Over the past two weeks, you got comfortable learning basic, baseline creative activities that can be practiced at any job. This week is more personal. You will take a closer look at YOUR job + YOUR creativity and learn practical ways to marry them.
Week 7 – Next Steps
Once you identify your personal brand of creativity, your work creativity, and how to combine the two, there are still some crucial next steps to consider such as making practicing your creativity at work + at play a habit. In this final week, you will get access to Be Curious: a mini-course that will provide you with a step-by-step guide to designing and creating a personal professional development plan for yourself.
Bonus #1 – Hang out in our Facebook community with other awesome people like yourself who are also discovering their own personal brand of creativity and learning how to exercise it at work + at play. Get support + feedback as you progress through this course. I’ll be stopping by several times a week to reply to questions and comments.
Bonus #2 – Download your one line a day calendar to track your progress in making creative practice a habit. Jot down a quick note each day you practice your creativity and watch as days turn into months and before you know it, you will have created a habit. Download the calendar as many times as you want, and hang it up somewhere you will see it on a daily basis.
Bonus #3 – Join the Practice League. By signing up for this course you will automatically receive entry into the league. Worried that you might stop practicing your creativity when the course is over? Have no fear, I’ll be popping in with creative challenges to keep you on your toes and get your creative juices flowing. And there will be prizes. Did I mention prizes?
